Mark II Motorsport confirmed they were well and truly back in business this weekend by winning the Bombalong Stages held at Oakington, Cambridge.

Driver Mark Welch Co Driven for the first time by Webmaster Mark Sims finished 54 seconds ahead of last year's winner Tom Lambert in his powerful Darrian kit car. Welch said "Tom is in good form at the moment. He won at Abingdon just 2 weeks ago, so this result is great". He added "Mark in the Co Drivers seat did us proud. Considering it was his first ever event, he handled the stages and the pressure like a real Pro!

With transmission improvements planned for the Yellow Peril, we will be a force to be reckoned with!" This is Mark II's first win for some time. Ironically, the last was Abingdon in 1998…….
